The Cambridge Building Society is a UK-based building society based in the university city of Cambridge England. Founded in 1850 and assuming its current name in 1945 it boasts assets of around £940 million (as of the end of 2010) making it the 13th largest building society in the UK. It is a member of the Building Societies Association.

As well as offering mortgages the Cambridge Building Society also offers a range of savings and investment products along with loans and insurance. For savers it offers a range of specialist savings accounts including ISAs bonds and accounts designed for children.

In terms of insurance the building society can provide both home and contents cover as well as a range of life and critical illness cover. Additionally for investors the Cambridge Building Society is partnered with both Credit Suisse International and Legal & General to offer a variety of investment options.
