Pipework and General Fabrication

Pipework Assembly
The fabrication facility is approximately 1200m?, with additional office accommodation and storage. Yard space is essentially unlimited due to the flexible nature of the port and quayside facility. The main workshop is equipped with 10T overhead craneage, and the yard/quayside is capable of accepting mobiles up to 1000T.
Our workshop is extensively equipped with all necessary assembly and welding equipment, while retaining the flexibility to accommodate a variety of projects, from major pipework assembly to complete modular skid assembly and fit out.
The adjacent project office is equipped with CAD stations operating AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, with all administrative, managerial and engineering functions located within the same facility.



ISO 9001
Our standard working systems are based around full material traceability to level 3.1 or 3.2 certification, and this is applied to all project work whether it is requested or not. Full documentation packages are provided when requested, giving a complete material, weld and testing history, either in electronic or hard copy form, and usually at no additional cost to a project.
The complete Company Management System is designed to be multi-functional, and is constantly reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with our current certifications to ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and Pressure Equipment Directive Cat III. Future developments will ultimately see our systems extended to encompass environmental controls in accordance with ISO 14001.



Project Management/Project Engineering
Skills and trades on offer are:
Welding (every welder multi coded, in GMAW, GTAW and FCAW) Platers/fabricators Pipe fitters Mechanical fitters And:
Project Management/Project Engineering CAD draughtsmen on AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor As much of our work relates to site installations, our workforce is fully trained and certified in all related site activities, plus, a project management function experienced as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations.



Renewable Energy
Being within a few hours maximum drive from most wind farm sites, hydro schemes and existing power stations, we are in an excellent position to be involved in any related land based projects. Additionally, as we are based on the quayside at Dundee?s deep water berth, we are perfectly positioned for the larger fabrication projects requiring marine transport, and in a prime location to supply and mobilise for any offshore wind, wave or tidal energy projects.
With this quayside facility and the extensive development potential within the Port of Dundee, we are also in an ideal position to contribute actively to any future de-commissioning projects from the North Sea.
