The company specialises in the bespoke design and manufacture of aluminium gangways, accommodation ladders, shore based pedestrian access equipment, special structures, frame walk and has a Worldwide customer base.

With a vision for the future the company has recently moved into new purpose-built premises allowing the company to realise a plan of rapid growth and expansion. Tyne Gangway is now able to offer clients a bespoke design and manufacturing service for such items as radar mast, hatch covers and footbridges together with the existing product range.

All of the companies standard ranges of ships access equipment, accommodation ladders and gangways are all approved by the major classification societies and regulatory bodies. Passenger access equipment is designed to comply with any local statutory requirements and is approved to ISO 9001 standards.

Tyne Gangway also features a qualified Germanisher Lloyd welding house mainly undertaking the welding of hull equipment.

Recently, to respond to market demand, the company moved into repair and replacement, a particular facet of which the company?s ability is to adapt it?s own design extrusions to replace existing access equipment with the result that expensive installation costs are avoided.
