Abacus Construction Estimators is a Quantity Surveying and Estimating Company based in the historical town of Linlithgow West Lothian, Scotland. We offer our Services Nationwide. We currently undertake works for Clients based in both England and Scotland, but would welcome Clients from all areas. Distance is no object.


Construction Estimator
Drawing on the resources of 20 years experience in the field of Quantity Surveying and Estimating Abacus Construction Estimators was established in 2007, to service small and medium sized Building Companies and Subcontractors. Several Companies and Subcontractors may not have the requirement for a full time Estimator or Quantity Surveyor. On the other hand, Several Companies and Subcontractors who do have full time Estimators or Quantity Surveyors but due to current workload may require additional support. Abacus Construction Estimators can accommodate the needs of both of these situations.


Cost Management
Abacus Construction Estimators offer full Quantity Surveying and Estimating Services including:
Advice on the projected cost of the Building. Budget Estimating and Cash Flow Projections. Production of tender documentation for projects and subcontract works. Advice on suitable Contractors and Subcontractors. Advice on Procurement Methods. Preparation of Applications for Payments and Valuations. Building Estimating. Preparation of take offs and Bill of Quantities.

Quantity Surveyors
Abacus Construction Estimators provides estimates for both the Domestic and Commercial sector of the Construction Industry. We provide estimating facilities for Contracts ranging from ?50 - ?10,000,000.
We offer estimating facilities for loft conversions, basement conversions, extensions, new build for Domestic and Commercial Clients. We can provide a detailed estimate that shows an accurate; comprehensive and impartial building cost breakdown. We aim to provide a fast service in this sector as we are aware that the Builders or their Clients will want their price turned round quickly. We therefore endeavour to return these within 7 days of receipt.




Procurement Consultants
We carry out Site Visits and undertake valuations for all trade Subcontractors and endeavour to ensure that all valuations are submitted on time, thus maximising our Clients cash flow. We will submit the valuations direct to the Subcontractors Clients and follow it up to ensure that payments are processed.
In order for a project to commence we are willing to provide advice or assistance in any way that we can.
