Canted Coil Springs
Clifford Springs Ltd are manufacturers of a range of products including canted coil springs, made from materials such as hastelloy, carbon, elgiloy, and stainless steel. We work from customer supplied samples or drawings.
A great feature of single height canted coil springs is that they can be used for their unique load characteristics.


PEEK Springs
PEEK springs are an ideal alternative to replacing the Inconel or stainless steel spring as they are used in high performance S Seals as an anti-extrusion device.
One important factor about these springs is that they don?t score the shaft as the seal wears, due to the unique design characteristic of this polymer spring.
PEEK springs used in conjunction with a peek seal can negate stability issues when used in temperature.


Garter Springs
We manufacture garter springs in both low and high volume for an eclectic range of diverse markets from automotive industry to model makers who use the spring as a drive band. The limits are endless.
The garter springs can either be supplied assembled directly into the ring or it can be shipped straight. We can also supply it in lengths with join inserts so that the seal manufacturer can cut it to size which eliminates costly waste.


Helical Seal Springs
Clifford Springs manufacture helical seal springs using the most up-to-date CNC spring coilers. These springs can be supplied either by the metre or on 50 or 100 metre spools.
Our manufactured helical seal springs can be supplied welded straight into the seal jacket with our in house micro welder.


Meander Springs
Dynamic sealing applications utilise meander springs which are manufactured by Clifford Springs and can be supplied in the 000 to 500 industry standard series.
The springs are carried as ex stock in stainless steel that is 301 grade
Meander springs are also available in Elgiloy and Hastelloy.
