Lumidrives was founded in 2000 by its managing director Gordon Routledge, out of a recognition of the enormous potential of the next generation of high-powered LEDs and that a blend of electronics and lighting industry expertise are essential to fully understand and exploit LED technology.

Today, Lumdrives supplies the core technology behind many of the well publicised projects and products.

Lumidrives has clients in a wide range of industry sectors from innovative start-ups to global lighting manufacturers, covering applications from architectural structure and accent lighting to emergency lighting and from entertainment lighting to beacon lighting for the emergency services.

The Company has its headquarters in Knaresborough, UK and has operating locations in China and Finland.
