Conveyors
Dodd Engineering specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of a wide variety of materials handling equipment. Our standard conveyor product range covers most overhead and floor conveying applications. Working with MovoMech of Sweden for the past twelve years we have a wide range of standard industrial lift assist manipulators, for weightless handling, along with the associated aluminium crane rail systems.
As well as providing service and maintenance on our own systems we also maintain and repair third party equipment. We are experienced in the relocation of plant and machinery and will transport and re commission systems.
Dodd Engineering was established in 1987 in Chorley, Lancashire.

Weightless Handling
Working with MovoMech Sweden for the past twelve years we can offer a large range of standard industrial handling manipulators comprising of the following.
Lightweight aluminium crane rail systems and trolleys. Pedestal hoists etc. (MechChain) Intelligent hoists both pneumatic and electric. (MechLift) Overhead mounted telescopic handlers useful for all xyz movement
applications. Especially when torque reactions are required. (MechLight) Simple cost effective direct control or auto balance lifters. (MechSpace) Overhead or floor mount knuckle jib parallel arm balancing arms Vacuum lifters with a large range of pick-up attachments.

Steel Fabrications
Dodd Engineering design, manufacture and install structural steelwork, steel fabrications and special purpose machines.

Conveyor Maintenace
Dodd Engineering specialise in the installation of conveyors and materials handling systems.
We provide full installation of all our own systems. We also install third party manufacturer systems such as MovoMech

We are experienced in the relocation of small and large scale materials handling systems. We will take responsibility for decommissioning of equipment, transportation, new location assembly and recommisioning and testing of systems in the new location.

Dodd Engineering provide service and maintenance for conveyors, material handling systems and special purpose machines. As well as providing maintenance for our own equipment we are able to service a wide range of third party manufacturer equipment as well as bespoke systems.
