Slitting Upgrades
Exdel Limited specialise in upgrading slitting stations or adding as in-line units in other machinery using individual pneumatically operated shear or crush knife holders, individual shear knife holders, shaft mounted shear knives, flex-flex shear knife box for very accurate slit tolerances and reduced dust slitting, individual razor holders, with or without quick blade change cassette, razor comb, crush cutting perforating and custom designs to suit requirements. We offer a semi automatic knife positioning device to aid quick and accurate setting
We also upgrade control systems and have a replacement for pcb based tension controllers using a plc based touchscreen unit


Bespoke Slitter Design
Exdel Limited design slitter rewinders to suit custom requirements for end users and OEMs using either 2d or 3d design software. Recent projects include complete machine design with auto transfer at turreting and minimum gap centre winding
