James Walker Flemings produces precision components in engineering plastics for a wide range of applications. These are supplied to sectors such as food and drink, waste treatment, ceramics, automotive, packaging, steel and heavy industry.

Products range from hydraulic and pneumatic seals, diaphragms and balls, to hot-cast polyurethane components. Production capacity covers small batches of special items, such as dual hardness tube test seals that work at 3450bar, to high volume injection mouldings. Component sizes range from 2mm to more than 3000mm.

The company processes virtually all thermoplastics, plus thermoset polyurethane, rigid polyurethane foam, and reinforced cloths. Many of its materials comply with the WRAS requirements for potable water duties, or FDA requirements for food processing applications.
