GPD UK (Gear Pump Distributors) (UK) Ltd was established in April 2000 as a subsidiary of our manufacturing plant and foundry, GPM (Gear Pump Manufacturing) in South Africa to supply the UK and European/Middle East markets with gear pump parts and complete units more efficiently to cut down on shipping times and costs. We have come to understand that the average hydraulic repair facility today repairs numerous brand names and cannot always carry extensive stock. By us stocking extensive inventory we are able to supply parts overnight and complete units within 24 hours from the UK.

Our group owns operations in South Africa, Australia and UK; exports to 37 countries and all components are interchangeable with the most popular range of cast iron gear pumps. At our facility in the UK located in Bromsgrove (Worcestershire) we are able to repair and build new bearing and bushing gear pumps, motors and flow dividers, all units are tested on our digital test bench.
We are also able to offer to our customers, service exchange units to allow quick turn around for breakdowns on most popular units.
Now as manufacturers in our own right we can offer an even improved service and as OEMs, a better Price.
We are also able to identify certain cast iron and aluminium gear pumps and motors which we are able to replace with our cast iron units.
