Moulded Plastic components
GMS Polymer Engineering Ltd is a custom moulder of rubber and plastic components and supplier of seals and gaskets. We have the capability to manufacture products from all types of natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as TPEs and Thermoplastics. We use a range of Injection, Transfer and Compression moulding processes, including rubber to metal bonding and reinforced fabric applications. The moulding method that is used is largely dependent upon the characteristic of the part itself, the quantity of parts that are required, tooling type and the desired finish of components. We have supplied custom designed and manufactured components to many industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, food, white goods, leisure and general engineering.


Plastic Rubber Prototyping and Tool Making
Not only can we manufacture your existing rubber or plastic parts, but we can also support new projects by assisting with design and prototyping, suggesting cost saving ideas if appropriate or undertaking the design of functional components to meet your requirements including material specification. We are very flexible to meet any requirements regarding part size and volume and can also assist with secondary operations and assembly work if required. We also provide an in house tool making and tool-refurbishment facility which is fully equipped with modern CNC machinery and CAD/CAM systems.


Moulded Rubber Components
We also produce a range of our own products such as universal rubber CV boots, bump stops, and flexible fabric drive couplings for vintage cars, lorries and machinery using original tooling. Please contact us for more details of any of our products or services.
