Traditionally, Kalestead has specialised in the design and manufacture of custom cables, ranging from the most lightweight and delicate, typically interfacing sensor and instrumentation; to coiled, extendable heavy-duty cables such as used by construction plant, and capable of surviving the most hostile environment. And in every case, whether single or multi-core, we manufacture the constituent cables, where necessary integrating the strength not only to support their own weight, but also that of the equipment they power and interface, at depths of many hundreds of metres. Constantly addressing new fields of endeavour, our product portfolio now includes cables used in temperature measurement, together with the thermal probes and sensors they employ.
