RN Electronics is an EMC Testing centre committed to providing exceptional Testing services. We specialise in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Radio Testing and are UKAS accredited testing laboratory No.2360.


EMC Testing
We are dedicated to providing outstanding EMC testing services and our extensive test chambers means we can provide extremely short lead times and parallel EMC testing programmes.
We offer you a quick and efficient way to CE mark with assurance and are continually striving to provide unrivaled testing services. Our expert engineers offer on the spot advice and help to gain and develop compliance.
We can now agree EMC Immunity Requirements for BT contracts and our final test reports are internally recognised.


Radio Testing
We have substantial experience in radio RF design and type approvals and offer expert radio testing to meet the R&TTE Directive for CE marking and other similar standards set from North America.
Our RF design and radio testing skill can help you to develop new products. We can help with design and suggest the use of radio modules and perform pre-compliance tests and integrate solutions as the design develops.

Safety Testing
We provide a quick and cost-efficient safety testing service to meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and CE Marking. Safety testing can be costly and time consuming, we provide a basic safety assessment which usually takes a day and costs less than you think.
Our safety testing includes advice on labelling and paperwork requirements, visual inspection to clarify clearance and creepage distances to ensure safe construction.
We also perform key tests to check for plug discharge, earth bond, strength of insulation, touch current, and input current. We check sudden rises in temperatures in critical components and assess mechanical, thermal and electrical hazards.


Energy Efficiency Testing
We provide energy efficiency testing on any appliance in accordance to energy usage requirements in the UK, Europe, California and Canada.
Our energy efficiency testing is also in line with the ErP directive which came into effect in Europe in 2010. It enforces manufacturers to create the lowest possible energy usage in off or standby modes.
