Having all of our services from tooling to testing under one roof allows us to be extremely efficient, especially when working to tight deadlines. Bespoke Silicone Hose

Standard Silicone Hose - Coolant Application
Silflex Coolant Hoses connect non-fuel components and pipe work in systems designed to operate in a temperature range from -50?C to a maximum of 180?C. Available in a wide range of configurations and dimensions, Silflex Coolant Hose is manufactured from the highest grade silicone rubber formulated specifically for automotive applications. The standard reinforced polyester silicone composite is available to a variable specification to suit individual cooling system applications. Reinforced with heat resistant fabrics, the Silflex range of Standard Coolant Hose is designed to withstand the extreme conditions experienced with contemporary coolant systems; with a proven track record in modern engines. Standard Silicone Hose - Turbo / CAC Applications
Silflex Turbocharger & CAC (charge air cooled) hoses are manufactured in silicone with an Aramid reinforcing fabric as standard, allowing higher temperature & pressure resistance. For more demanding requirements, construction can incorporate wire reinforcing, offering greater resistance to profile changes & improved flexibility respectively. Available in a wide range of configurations and dimensions, Silflex Coolant Hose is manufactured from the highest grade silicone rubber formulated specifically for automotive applications. Fuel Cell & Hybrid Silicone Hose
The Siligiene? lined silicone hose has been specifically developed to minimise the risk of contamination of the fluid or air carried by the hose from trace level extractable materials found in the conventional silicones e.g. Siloxanes, while still giving all of the service benefits expected from Silflex silicone hoses. So while it is suitable for use in a wide range of chemical fluid/gas transfer applications where the risk of contamination needs to be minimised it also meets the demands of applications ranging from motorsport and high performance bikes & cars through bus, truck and rail industry requirements while also being suitable for use in static generator applications.

Specialist Applications - Fire Retardant Silicone Hose
Silflex flame retardant hose has been specifically designed for the demanding requirements of mass transit applications. Generally it is used in applications that require the material to be flame-retardant and give off low smoke & low toxic fumes. This compound has been tested against BS6853 & AFNOR NFF 16-101. It is classified as category II AGAINST BS 6853 & AS F1,IO against NFF16-101.

Fuel & Oil Application Silicone Hose
Silflex has two build options available for silicone hoses that are likely to either come into contact with oil or diesel and hoses needed for the constant transportation of more aggressive fuels. Profuel? is a fluoroelastomer lined silicone hose designed for the latter and is perfect for use with petrol, bio-fuels and the more aggressive bio-diesels. Standard fluorosilicone lined hoses work with diesel fuel and oil mist applications, both provide a barrier to stop the silicone degrading and are a cost effective alternative to complete Fluorosilicone and Fluorocarbon hoses.
