Transformation Tubes manufacture and supply the full range of "COLORAP" filter sleeves. The sleeves are designed for use with all fluorescent tubes be they T5,T8 or T12.

The colour range consists of over 100 colour variations including speciality corrective or even protective versions for restricting the damaging effect of ultra violet emissions.

Flourescent Tubes Colour Filter Gels
Colorap light filters sleeves will protect from damaging UV light. Example of usage include:

Lighting Filter Gels
Filter gel sheets are a thin, tough, polyester coloured film, which create a colour wash when a light source is shone through it. Coloured gel filter sheets for lighting units are used in stage colour wash and lighting effects creating the right mood, enhancing scenery and costumes. Filter gel sheets can also be used for home craft designs.
Colorap filter gels are available in either sheets or rolls in 20 stock and over 100 special order colours including colour effects light filters, correction filters, live performance light filters, diffusion light filters, reflectors and accessories.

How long will the light filters last? 10,000 hours or 1 year depending on storage/usage.
Can light filters be removed and re-used? Yes! Our filters are fully reusable. Should a tube break simply remove the glass into a sealable container. Do not inhale any of the harmful material from the broken tube. Clean the sleeve out and slide in a new fluorescent tube.
Are the light filters fire resistant? Transformation Tubes filters are fire resistant to BS 3944:1991 pt 1. High temperature polycarbonate live performance filters are available by special order.
