In 1988, SIDAPLAX became a subsidiary of Plastics Suppliers Inc., Columbus , Ohio . It is based in Gentbrugge , Belgium . To better service the market, Plastic Suppliers opened in 1990 their Northampton, U.K branch. Both are at the heart of the European industrial landscape.

SIDAPLAX is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of biaxially oriented plastic films, registered under such trademarks as "Polyflex", "Labelflex" and "TMOPS". Our newest development is a compostable film called EarthFirst PLA, which is a corn based plastic film produced in Columbus, Ohio by Plastic Suppliers, Inc. the parent company of Sidaplax. This material is produced from NatureWorks LLC resin called NatureWorks? PLA.
