About Us
Hager Group is a leading supplier of solutions and services for electrical installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

For the development and production of these solutions, we rely on a portfolio of proven specialists. The Hager brand, with products ranging from energy distribution through wiring accessories to building automation and security systems, represents the core business of our company. Other members of Hager Group are Berker, Daitem and Diagral, as well as Efen and Elcom. This allows us to combine all the skills necessary for the development of innovative products, systems and services required for building automation.

Together with our customers from industry and the electrical trade, we are working on future topics such as electro-mobility, Ambient Assisted Living, where building automation facilitates the everyday life of the elderly and individuals who require care, and on the networking of energy-efficient housing, which will provide greater comfort while requiring less energy consumption. The link between many of these technologies will be building automation and hence the product with which we have achieved our growth.

Hager Group was founded in 1955 by Hermann Hager and Dr. Oswald Hager together with their father Peter and today remains an independent business, owned and run by members of the Hager family, with its head office in Blieskastel, Germany. The organisation of the company as a European Company (Societas Europaea, SE) underlines both our cultural diversity and our European roots. Hager Group is, nevertheless, a worldwide business venture: our 11,400 employees generated a turnover of around 1.6 billion euros in 2012. We produce our components and solutions in 22 production sites around the globe and customers in more than 80 countries all over the world trust in them.

In the UK, Hager has a well-established R&D team and global resource to meet the needs of the market. This is backed up by the UK factory having ISO 9001:2008 and an on-site ASTA recognised laboratory to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, which ensures that products and solutions meet all of the relevant standards. The UK site has OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001 and the Investors in People Bronze Award.
